Clifton Pondexter (born September 15, 1954) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'9" forward/center from Fresno, California, Pondexter played at California State University, Long Beach. At the conclusion of his college career Pondexter was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the sixteenth pick of the 1974 NBA Draft and by the San Diego Conquistadors in the first round of the 1974 ABA Draft.〔(Cliff Pondexter page at DatabaseBasketball.com )〕〔(Career statistics ). basketball-reference.com.
